There were no big teams, no national reach \u2014 just the idea that travelers deserved a trusted guide to the best in hospitality, and that hoteliers deserved a platform to tell their stories.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ai-optimize-8\" data-start=\"798\" data-end=\"963\">\u201cI didn\u2019t have a single contact,\u201d Edward recalls. \u201cBut I believed in the vision. I believed in relationships.
